Juan Muñoz Echániz (GSAS ’23) awarded 2025 Vicent Caselles Prize by the Spanish Royal Mathematical Society and the BBVA Foundation

Congratulations to alum Juan Muñoz Echániz (’23) for being awarded the 2025 Vicent Caselles Prize by the Spanish Royal Mathematical Society and the BBVA Foundation for his work at the intersection of gauge theory, low-dimensional topology and contact geometry. The award recognizes “creativity, originality and achievement in the early years of the scientific profession”, and is conferred each year to six Spanish mathematicians under 30 years old.
