Grading: Homework 40%, Midterm 20%, Final Exam 40%

• Homework: There will be weekly assignments, due in class on Mondays.
  The total score of each assignment is 50; late penalty is -4 points per day.
  The lowest homework score will be dropped.
  Assignment 1 (due 1/31), Assignment 2 (due 2/7), Assignment 3 (due 2/14), Assignment 4 (due 2/28),
  Assignment 5 (due 3/7), Assignment 6 (due 3/28), Assignment 7 (due 4/4), Assignment 8 (due 4/11),
  Assignment 9 (due 4/18), Assignment 10 (due 4/25), Assignment 11 (due 5/2)
• Midterm: Wednesday, March 9, 2011, in class.
  The midterm will cover Lecture 1--13 and Assignment 1--5.
• Final Exam: Monday, May 9, 2011, 9am-noon (scheduled by the university).
