The MAFN Program equips the students with the skills to not only succeed academically but also give them the professional development tools and resources to succeed in the job market. gsas career development services
All students in our program are able to use the career development resources provided by GSAS Compass, which services all master’s and doctoral students in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences. Those services include:
- Job and Internship Platform
- One-on-one Career Advising
- General Career Development Resources
- Events and Workshops
m.A. in Mathematics of finance (mafn) career development
- Virtual trainings offered in the summer prior to joining the program: technical interview & career development training covering all aspects of job/interview search
- One-on-one career advising starting in the summer before students join the program, through their studies and beyond
- Industry-specific career workshops including technical mock interviews, salary negotiation workshops, etc.
- Employer info sessions, company treks, and exclusive job/internship opportunities
- Networking events with alumni of the program
