Project Nexus
Project Nexus offers a unique opportunity for collaboration between students in Columbia’s Mathematics of Finance (MAFN) program and leaders in the financial industry on real-world research initiatives. Conducted during the summer, Project Nexus brings together teams of students to work remotely with an advisor organization. Through this program, students apply their academic knowledge in practical settings, gaining valuable insights into industry research. Advisor organizations, in turn, gain access to fresh perspectives and resources for exploring and testing ideas that may not be feasible in-house.
Here are quick facts about Project Nexus:
- Summer project/internship with a team of MAFN students.
- Recommended project duration: 10 weeks (June – August).
- Work arrangement: Remote, unpaid.
