Had an amazing trip, which involved several days of travel through hundreds of miles of spectacular sand dunes in four-wheel drive vehicles operated by impressive Tuareg drivers (no camels). This put me and the group I was traveling with somewhere in between Dirkou and Bilma, about at the center of the shadow seen in this picture:<\/p>\n
