For the last few years Stony Brook has been running a workshop on math and physics during the summer, funded by Jim Simons of Renaissance Technologies.  The topic for this summer has just been announced, it&#8217;s &#8220;The String Landscape and the Swampland&#8221;.   A <a href=\"http:\/\/insti.physics.sunysb.edu\/itp\/conf\/simonswork4\/main.html\">poster<\/a> for the workshop is now on-line, featuring a large picture of a swamp.
