The plan is for roughly a month until colliding beams at 3.5 TeV\/beam.<\/p>\n<p>For the latest news, see <a href=\"http:\/\/lhc-commissioning.web.cern.ch\/lhc-commissioning\/news-2010\/LHC-latest-news.html\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/op-webtools.web.cern.ch\/op-webtools\/vistar\/vistars.php?usr=LHC1\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Update<\/strong>:  Please, everyone, stop e-mailing me and posting comments here with the &#8220;news&#8221; (e.g. <a href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/2\/hi\/science\/nature\/8556621.stm\">here<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/science.slashdot.org\/story\/10\/03\/10\/1515232\/LHC-Will-Be-Shut-Down-In-2011-Because-of-Mistake\">here<\/a>) that the LHC will shutdown for a year or more in the future to fix bad splices.
