There&#8217;s a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.linearcollider.org\/newsline\/\">new weekly newsletter<\/a> and a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.linearcollider.org\">new website<\/a> devoted to the ILC project which has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.linearcollider.org\/cms\/?pid=1000019\">twice-daily updates<\/a> from the Snowmass workshops.  Kind of like blogging, except done by professionals.  Soon every conference or workshop will have their official blogger (two ongoing mathematical physics ones that link to blogs on their website are at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kitp.ucsb.edu\/activities\/strings05\/?id=310\">KITP<\/a> and at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.math.uni-hamburg.de\/home\/schweigert\/mfo\/mfo.html\">Oberwolfach<\/a>.  I really should write more about twisted K-theory here sometime&#8230;.)<\/p>\n<p>For more about plans for the ILC, and for a <a href=\"http:\/\/www7.nationalacademies.org\/bpa\/EPP2010_Presentation_Aymar.pdf\">presentation about CERN&#8217;s plans for the future<\/a>, see the <a href=\"http:\/\/www7.nationalacademies.org\/bpa\/EPP2010_presentations.html\">talks<\/a> from the EPP2010 meeting at Cornell earlier this month. <\/p>\n<p>In other particle physics news, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.math.columbia.edu\/~woit\/wordpress\/?p=162\">RSVP project<\/a> at Brookhaven has been <a href=\"http:\/\/i-newswire.com\/pr41956.html\">terminated<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Update<\/b>: There&#8217;s another collider physics workshop going on in the Colorado mountains, this one is at <a href=\"http:\/\/pheno.physics.wisc.edu\/~than\/aspen-talks.html\">Aspen<\/a> and is concentrating on LHC physics.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This week and next there are workshops at Snowmass on the particle and accelerator physics aspects of the proposed International Linear Collider (ILC).
