More <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/news\/general-news\/breakthrough-prize-ceremony-elon-musk-bill-gates-and-rupert-murdoch-1235873765\/\">here<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.etonline.com\/media\/videos\/2024-breakthrough-prize-hollywood-a-listers-step-out-for-oscars-of-science-223498\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2024\/04\/14\/celebrity-news\/star-align-for-oscars-of-science-yuri-milners-10th-annual-breakthrough-prize-ceremony\/\">here<\/a>.\n<p>You&#8217;ll be able to watch the whole thing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=XnNsH2g0gXA\">on Youtube<\/a> starting April 21.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldsciencefestival.com\/\">World Science Festival<\/a> will have some live programs here in New York May 30 &#8211; June 2.  One of the programs will feature the physicists responsible for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.math.columbia.edu\/~woit\/wordpress\/?cat=34\">Wormhole Publicity Stunt<\/a> explaining how<br \/>\n<blockquote><p>we may be able to create wormholes\u2014tunnels through spacetime\u2014in the laboratory.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/li>\n<li>Stringking42069 is <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/stringking42069\">back on Twitter<\/a> with his outreach efforts for the string theory community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A few items on the science outreach front: The Oscars of Science were held Saturday night in Hollywood, with a long list of A-listers in attendance, led by Kim Kardashian.
