This week he&#8217;s been giving the <A href=\"http:\/\/www.fields.toronto.edu\/programs\/scientific\/04-05\/string-theory\/coxeter\/dijkgraaf.html\">Coxeter  Lectures<\/A> at the Fields Institute in Toronto, and the slides and audio of his introductory talk are now available <A href=\"http:\/\/www.fields.toronto.edu\/audio\/04-05\/coxeter_lectures\/dijkgraaf\/\">on-line<\/A>.  I hope there will be similar materials for his other, more detailed talks.<\/p>\n<p>Last week the Fields Institute hosted a <A href=\"http:\/\/www.fields.toronto.edu\/programs\/scientific\/04-05\/string-theory\/topstrings\/\">workshop on topological strings<\/A> and the talks are <A href=\"http:\/\/www.fields.toronto.edu\/audio\/#topstrings\">on-line<\/A>, although in many cases just the audio of the talk is available, which is pretty hard to follow.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Robbert Dijkgraaf is about the most lucid expositor around on the topic of what now goes under the name &#8220;topological strings&#8221;.
