Here are a few Langlands-related items:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The big Langlands-related event of the summer will be the July IHES <a href=\"https:\/\/indico.math.cnrs.fr\/event\/6909\/\">Summer School on the Langlands Program<\/a>.  Laurent Fargues has posted <a href=\"https:\/\/webusers.imj-prg.fr\/~laurent.fargues\/IHES_summer_school_2022.pdf\">notes for the summer school<\/a> (written with Peter Scholze).  They comment at the end that &#8220;it still remains to find an archimedean analog&#8221; of their work relating local Langlands and geometric Langlands on the Fargues-Fontaine curve.<\/li>\n<li>At Quanta, Alex Kontorovich has a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.quantamagazine.org\/what-is-the-langlands-program-20220601\/\">popular introduction to the Langlands program<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>There&#8217;s a <a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/2205.03848\">recent review by Michael Harris<\/a> of expected properties of the local Langlands correspondence. <\/li>\n<li>There&#8217;s a program going on about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.college-de-france.fr\/site\/en-bao-chau-ngo\/index.htm\">automorphic forms at the  Coll\u00e8ge de France<\/a>, featuring lectures by Ng\u00f4.  Maybe I&#8217;ll stop by to hear one next week.<\/li>\n<li>I was sad to hear about the recent death of Jo\u00ebl Bella\u00efche, who had been a postdoc here at Columbia.
