Matrix factorisation for Morse-Bott functions -- Constantin Teleman, November 18, 2016

For a holomorphic function (super-potential) W with a single critical point on an affine algebraic (or complex) manifold, one can define a matrix factorisation category, which gives boundary conditions for the B-model of a topological field theory. When the singularity is of Morse type, the category is equivalent to that of Clifford modules. I will explain (the corrected version of) a conjecture of Kapustin, Rozansky and Saulina which generalises this to Morse-Bott singularities. An excursion in higher deformation theory and L-infinity structure will be needed.
