It is customary for hotel guests in Italy to leave a tip
for hotel staff in addition to the room and
board rate.
The recommended tip is 5 euros per day.
Flights/Travel: Lamezia
Terme International Airport (SUF)
is the closest airport and is ~1.5 hours south of the
hotel. There
are many nonstop flights from cities in Europe (like
Frankfurt)
to Lamezia Terme because Calabria is a popular
tourist location in the summer.
The hotel offers a shuttle to/from Lamezia Terme
Airport
or Paola Train Station for a fee
(cost depends on time of day and number of shared riders).

once you have your flight arrival/departure times.
Alternatively, Naples International Airport (NAP)
is ~3 hours
north and Rome’s Leonardo da Vinci International Airport
(FCO) is ~5 hours north of the hotel. There is no shuttle
to/from these airports, so attendees will need to
arrange their own transportation.
