I am a postdoc in Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in Bonn, Germany. I obtained my Ph.D. from Columbia University in May of 2014. My adviser is Professor Johan de Jong. My main area of interest lies in algebraic geometry, especially arithmetic geometry.  I specialize in studying the geometry of Shimura varieties in positive characteristic and deformation of p-divisible groups. Here are my research statement and CV.

Publication:

  • Towards a definition of Shimura curves in positive characteristics, preprint, submitted.

  • A characterization of Mumford curves with good reduction, preprint, submitted.

  • On the deformation of a Barsotti-Tate group over a proper curve, preprint, submitted.

Notes:

  • Lifting of a family of K3 surfaces over a proper curve, pdf
