Mr. Dave Swinarski will give the talk on Friday, February 20 at noon in Math 417. This lecture will be open to all.
Abstract: I will review some simple examples, illuminate the basic definitions in moduli theory, and introduce as many examples as possible, including the moduli space of curves and the Hilbert scheme.
