Density of rational points on K3 surfaces

<p>

We survey techniques for finding many rational points on
        K3 surfaces, as developed by Bogomolov, Harris, Tschinkel, and
        others:
<dt>
        -Potential density of rational points on elliptic K3
         surfaces and surfaces with infinite automorphism group,
         over number fields and other global fields;
<dt>
        -Potential density of rational points on symmetric
         products of general K3 surfaces;
<dt>
        -Examples of K3 surfaces with N&eacute;ron-Severi rank one
         and dense rational points, over complex function fields.

   Open problems in the area will be summarized.
