Textbook James Stewart, Calculus , third edition (Brooks/Cole publishing company).
You can find the textbook at the university bookstore located between John Jay and Butler library. Please let me know if you couldn't get the book.
Overview This course is the second half of an introductory course on differential and integral calculus of one variable. Prerequisites are Math1101 (Chap. 1-5 in Stewart), as well as a solid foundation of high-school algebra and trigonometry. The lectures cover most materials in chapters 6,7,8 and 10 of the textbook, including exponential and inverse trigonometric functions, techniques and applications of integration, infinite series.
Help You are highly encouraged to take advantage of help; because of the short duration of the summer session, we are not able to practice very much during the class meetings. Help is available in the following forms.

a) My office hours: after class or by appointment (e-mail is the best way to contact me. Please feel free to do so if you need help.)

b) TA's helproom hours: Mondays and Tuesdays 2-5 pm.

c) Helproom: 406 Math (9am-6pm, Monday-Thursday).
No appointment is necessary for the helprooms, just stop by to get help with any problem in the course, get things re-explained, etc. Check the schedule there for TA availability.

Feedback Your feedback is much needed for the improvement of the course so that you can get the most from it. They are very appreciated, even if anonymous! Check it out!
Homework Homeworks will be assigned. Only the required homework will be graded but you are encouraged to do all of the homework problems, since it will give you better understanding and command of the course material. Do not hesitate to ask for help with the homework (as above). Check the homework that is due.
Quizzes/
Mid-terms
There will be 1-hour exams and/or quizzes during the course. Check the schedule.
