SUMMARY:Liam Watson: \"Involutions on 3-manifolds and Khovanov homology\
 "
DESCRIPTION:Abstract: Given a manifold with torus boundary\, together wi
th an appropriate involution\, it is possible give obstructions to certa
in exceptional surgeries using Khovanov homology. In particular\, obstru
ctions to lens space surgeries\, as well as obstructions to finite filli
ngs may be obtained. This talk will explain how these obstructions arise
\, and attempt to compare them with strong obstructions arising in Heega
 ard-Floer homology.
