Course Description
Special differential equations of order one. Linear differential
equations with constant and variable coefficients. Systems of such
equations. Transform and series solution techniques. Emphasis on
applications.
Prerequisites
Calculus III or higher.

Weekly homework assignments will be posted (in the schedule
below) at least one week before their due date.

The problems on the recommended list will not be graded and
are suggestions for further studies.

The following information is tentative and will likely change:
Weekly homework is to be turned in before 4pm on the following
Tuesday to the appropriate basket in the undergraduate office
room 410. Homework will be returned to a basket as
well. Grades on assignments and exams can be viewed in the
Courseworks grade book.

The grade received for late homework will decay exponentially
with a half-life of 2 days.
