Title: Fibered three-manifolds and the Floer homology of fibered Dehn twists

Abstract: I'll describe progress on a project to study symplectic Floer theories attached to singularly fibered 3- and 4-manifolds by decomposing the fibrations into their simplest pieces. There is an analogy with Heegaard Floer homology, which depends on handlebody decompositions; I will explain that the fibered theory, like Heegaard Floer theory, contains exact triangles.
