The Mathematics department maintains two help rooms as places for undergraduates to come and get help with material that comes up in their mathematics courses. These rooms are staffed by faculty, graduate students, and undergraduate teaching assistants.
Barnard Help Room
This room is designated for students needing help with their College Algebra/Analytic Geometry and Calculus I, II and III courses. It is located in Milbank 333 on the Barnard campus, and staffed from 10am-10pm Monday-Thursday, 1pm-5pm Friday. We maintain a
current schedule of who will be staffing this room.
Columbia Help Room
This room is designated for students needing help with their Calculus IV, ODE, Linear Algebra and all upper-level mathematics courses. It is
located in Mathematics 406, and staffed from
10am-7pm Monday-Thursday, 12:30pm-5pm Friday. We maintain a
current schedule of who will be staffing this room.
