Abstract:
I will discuss properties of the loop space of a manifold which
is an especially tractable Fréchet manifold. In particular I will describe
the way transgression, transferring data from the manifold to the loop
space, can be enhanced so as not to lose information. This opens the
possibility, as yet unrealized, of `String Analysis' with the particular
goal of analyzing the Dirac-Ramond and related operators.
